Moderation

It's Saturday. It's very easy to get distracted from healthy habits on the weekend. You are not alone if your weekend is full of temptations and a little splurging. I love eating out and enjoying my favorite foods. Moderation is key. We all need a little cheat from time to time, but don't let splurging turn into choking down an entire pizza on your own. Treating yourself to some of your favorite foods, in moderation, will keep you from feeling deprived. When we begin to feel deprived, we are at risk of losing control. I believe that if you feel like you will never be allowed to eat another chocolate chip cookie, the temptation to pig out on them, given the opportunity, is significantly increased. Set yourself up for success, not failure. Have a great weekend, friends!!! And don't forget to get out and do something active!!!!
